The Times They Are a-Changin’…

Well folks, it’s that time. As of November 1, 2011, I will be a full time resident at Memoir Tattoo. I’m incredibly excited for the opportunity to join the talents of Kim and Shawn. New steps and new directions, art keeps it moving!
Thank You to the crew at Unbreakable, for giving me a great three years and introducing me to Los Angeles. Good luck to y’all!

Johnnie’s Blues…

The world lost a great man and good friend. On October 31, 2010, Andrew Graziano was killed in a crash. Andrew was a dear friend to me and many others, he will be missed. A talent and wisdom beyond his years at 32 Andrew had accomplished more than most twice his age. A huge reason I am where I am today, I thank you, Andrew. I love you, and miss you. Rest in Peace.

A Convention of the Tattoo Arts 2010…

Spent the weekend in San Francisco with some old friends. This convention is one of the good ones still left. If you missed this year I would be sure to catch it next year! All the usual suspects were there, working away and inspiring the ones that take notice. Grime debuted his new book! One word… WOW!!! Scott got up and flaunted his sheer thong. Took first place in best back! Yay!
I’m outta town for a couple weeks, catch you on the flip!

Getting judged. (censored for the kids, holdin’ down that sheer!)

Mr. Kundell and Joel making dirty movies.

The talented George Campise, tattooing John-O. Already gone Hollywood.
